SkyscraperPage gets a bit off-topic from time to time, but this site is essential reading for all things "development" in Victoria (the link takes you to the Western Provinces forum page; find "Victoria development" or other Victoria-related threads and read on...)
SkyscraperCity also has a "Western Provinces" page and a "Victoria" thread, but it's less active.
Vibrant Victoria is a new site with a great
forum. Some threads on the
forum can be viewed by anyone, others are available only to registered users.
Two groups are trying to get some active thinking happening around public transit, specifically light rail transit. See

Go to any tourism site to see the not-quite-real Victoria, but take a look at this site for
the Real Victoria.
